US Sailing Safety at Sea Seminar - March 10, 2018 - 8am-4pm
Offshore Safety at Sea Course:
This course is for Crew Members of Offshore Races, Long Distance Cruising Sailors, or any sailor looking to improve their sailing skills and hone up on safety protocol and procedures.
This course can be taken in-person at a one-day Offshore Safety at Sea Course or can be completed online by taking the Offshore Safety at Sea Online Course.
Topics include all subjects covered in the Coastal Safety at Sea Course plus:
Heavy Weather
Hypothermia
Jury Rigging and Repair
Fire Safety
Life Rafts and Survival
Signals
The course takes one (1) day/eight (8) hours to complete.
